Charlotte Leslie’s promises to you as your new MP
Charlotte Leslie has thanked the people of Bristol North West for electing her as their MP, and has announced that improving education provision in the constituency will be her first priority.
Charlotte said: “It is an enormous honour, and an enormous responsibility to be elected to represent my fellow residents in Bristol North West. I will be working as hard as I can for our community here.”

BBC Radio Bristol is today broadcasting 13 hours of live programmes from Southmead, six months to the day since a Panorama documentary portrayed the estate in a very unflattering light. Although the problems cannot be ignored, Southmead residents and Charlotte Leslie agree that Southmead has a very strong sense of community.
Greenpeace hustings in Horfield
The four main candidates contesting the Bristol North West parliamentary seat took part in a hustings organised by Greenpeace held at the Quaker Meeting Room on the Gloucester Road. Charlotte Leslie, prospective Conservative MP for Bristol North West, said that it was extremely encouraging to see cross-party consensus on vitally important issues such as climate change.
Avonmouth boxing club’s six months in new gym
The National Smelting Amateur Boxing Club in Avonmouth is celebrating six months in a new purpose-built gym. Vital funding for the training facility was secured by club President and Bristol North West prospective Conservative MP Charlotte Leslie, who helped raise part of the £68,000 needed to pay for the new building.

Working for more green space for Shirehampton Primary School
Charlotte has been working with Shirehampton Primary School and residents to secure a piece of unused green-space for the school to use. The school hopes to work with residents to improve the space for residents’ use, and use it for school use.

Blaise Primary School children were presented with a piece of original art by Charlotte Leslie, as a basis for discussion of rights and responsibilities, in recognition of their Rights Respecting school agenda.
Campaigning for clarity over Elmlea School plans
Charlotte is campaigning with Elmlea School parents for clarity over the plans for Elmlea Infant School, and Junior School playing field, in order that the much needed improvements to the infant school can proceed smoothly and democratically.
