Avonmouth boxing club officially opened
Charlotte Leslie has officially opened the National Smelters Boxing Club’s new gym in Avonmouth. The new building is an amazing change from the former training facilities at the club on Barrack’s Lane which was little more than a large shed.

Charlotte Leslie elected onto the Education Select Committee
Bristol MP, Charlotte Leslie, has been selected as one of just four Conservative MPs to serve on the Education Select Committee in Parliament, working on a cross-party basis on education policy.

Ketamine Awareness campaign launched
Charlotte Leslie has helped to launch a campaign to have the dangerous drug ketamine upgraded to class B. The driving force behind new campaign group Ketamine Awareness is Shielmor Twomey from Henbury, whose son Caleb Morris took his own life after becoming addicted to the horse tranquiliser.

Charlotte Leslie makes maiden Commons speech
Charlotte Leslie has made her maiden speech in the House of Commons in a debate about education. She spoke passionately about her Bristol North West constituency, describing it as “fantastic and incredibly diverse”.
